Warranty Policy for OOME

At OOME, we stand behind the quality of our products. This warranty policy outlines the coverage, process, and terms for warranty claims related to products purchased from OOME (the “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By purchasing our products, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this warranty policy.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 Scope of Warranty
OOME products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period from the date of purchase, as detailed below. This warranty is available only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.
The following components are covered under the OOME warranty:
- Power Strips: All electrical components (such as sockets, switches, and terminals) and the housing.
- Warranty Period: OOME provides a 2-year warranty period from the date of purchase.
1.2 Warranty Coverage Includes
- Defects in Materials or Workmanship: If your OOME product fails due to faulty materials or workmanship during the warranty period, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you.
- Electrical Failures: In case of electrical malfunctions, such as failure of outlets, switches, or wiring due to manufacturing defects.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Warranty coverage extends to products that exhibit issues arising from regular use within the product’s designed lifespan, barring misuse or accidents.
1.3 Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Damage Due to Misuse: Products that have been used in a manner inconsistent with the product’s intended purpose, including physical damage, mishandling, or exposure to liquids.
- Accidental Damage: Any damage resulting from accidents, drops, spills, or external forces.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Products that have been modified, altered, or repaired by anyone other than OOME or an authorized service provider.
- Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, or other cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the functionality of the product.
- Non-OEM Parts: Use of non-OOME parts or accessories, such as third-party adapters, cables, or extensions.
- Natural Disasters: Damage resulting from events such as fire, flood, earthquake, or lightning.
- Improper Installation: Damage caused by improper or unqualified installation of the product.
- Loss of Data: OOME is not responsible for any data loss, including damage caused by power surges or other electrical failures.
2. How to Make a Warranty Claim
2.1 Warranty Claim Process
You can initiate a warranty claim through either of the following methods:

- Locate and click on the Help & Support Form.
- Fill in the following details: Name, Contact Number, Email, Address, Reason for contacting OOME, Description of the issue, etc.
- Submit the form. Our team will get in touch with you shortly to process your claim.
Option 2: Contact OOME Customer Support - Reach out to our customer support team at care@oome.in or call +91-22-66114444.
- Provide your proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order confirmation) to confirm the product’s warranty period.
- Include a clear description of the issue you are facing with the product.
- If applicable, attach photos or videos demonstrating the problem with the product.
- Product Evaluation:
- Our customer support team may request you to send the product back for inspection.
- Since OOME does not currently have a service center, customers must ship the defective product to our factory address for inspection.
- The customer will receive specific return instructions from our team, including how to safely pack the product for return.
- Shipping costs for returns within 7 days of delivery will be covered by OOME, as per the terms outlined below.
- Once the product is received, our technicians will evaluate the issue to determine if it is covered under the warranty.
- Resolution:
- If the product is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace it, at our discretion.
- If the issue is not covered under warranty, we will inform you and offer alternative solutions, such as a paid repair or product replacement.
2.2 Repair or Replacement
- Repair: If the product can be repaired, we will repair it and return it to you within a reasonable timeframe.
- Replacement: If the product is found to be defective and cannot be repaired, we will replace it with an equivalent product of equal or greater value.
- In the case of discontinued products, a similar product with equivalent features and specifications will be provided.
2.3 Shipping and Handling Costs
- Warranty Claims: If the product qualifies for warranty coverage, OOME will bear the cost of shipping the product back to you after repair or replacement.
- Within 7 Days of Delivery: If a warranty claim is made within 7 days of delivery, OOME will bear the cost of shipping the product back for inspection, repair, or replacement.
- After 7 Days of Delivery: For warranty claims made after 7 days from the date of delivery, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to the return and replacement of the product, even if the product is found to be defective and covered under warranty.
- Non-Warranty Claims: If the issue is not covered under warranty, you will be responsible for shipping costs.
3. Warranty Terms and Conditions
3.1 Warranty Period
The warranty period for OOME products is as follows:
- Power Strips: 2 years from the date of purchase.
The warranty period begins from the date of purchase, not from the date of delivery.
3.2 Proof of Purchase
A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. This can be in the form of:
- Invoice: A copy of the original sales invoice from an authorized OOME distributor or retailer.
- Order Confirmation: An email confirmation from OOME if purchased directly from our website.
Without valid proof of purchase, warranty claims may not be honored.
3.3 Factory Address for Warranty Claims
As OOME currently does not have a service center, warranty claims must be processed by sending the defective product to the following factory address:

3.4 Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product. Warranty coverage cannot be transferred to a third party.
4. Limitation of Liability
- OOME’s liability under this warranty policy is limited to the repair or replacement of the product, as described herein. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising from the use of the product or any warranty claim.
- In no event shall OOME’s liability exceed the amount paid for the product that is the subject of the warranty claim.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This warranty policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from warranty claims or the terms of this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
6. Modifications to the Warranty Policy
OOME reserves the right to modify or update this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated policy will apply to all warranty claims made after the date of the update.
